Quote: Fred Thompson at RNC

"...You don't lift an economic downturn by imposing one of the biggest tax increases in American history.

Now, our opponents tell us not to worry about their tax increases. They tell you they're not going to tax your family. No, they're just going to tax 'businesses.'

So, unless you buy something from a business - like groceries, clothes, or gasoline - or unless you get a paycheck from a business - a big business or a small business - don't worry, it's not going to affect you!"

  1. Sometimes the truth hurts - FRED THOMPSON is speaking the truth. Look outside the box of "what about me" for what some might think would be a tax break for 95% because Obama's proposal WOULD affect 100% of the American consumers! Have you realized that now the estimates are that 50% do not even pay taxes and the 95% he is speaking of is regarding payroll taxes - which we none will have to worry about if the the tax hikes drive out the ones who are hiring American workers to begin with!
I'm casting my vote for McCain/Palin. Some good ol' American common-sense needs to take place HERE in the homeland. If we as a country are not secure, we wn't need to worry about an economy because it will no longer be OURS to worry about.
