Blue Accountability
congress 2:27 AM
Sigh.... those big old bad Repwubwicans....
Obviously the Right has been giving money to the rich, hunting for oil in the Middle East, stealing elections, and torturing people without fair trails for 8 years right?
I mean, that's basically the message we were all given to vote Democratic in the past two elections (2006 and 2008) right?! Remember in 2006, when - to gain control of Congress and thereby become "Madame Speaker", Pelosi campaigned and cajoled us all into pressing the blue button in the ballot box in November '06?
In one hundred and twenty(ish) days, the Democrats have given more money to Wall Street executives than Republicans have EVER spent on Halliburton, more than doubled the national debt from the woe-is-me deficits of the Bush Administration, collapsed the Dow Jones (then partially recovered it to claim a victory), shaken hands with dictators, apologized for America for being free market capitalists, and compromised the security of our nation by promising to set terrorists and their accomplices free from Guantanamo - either sending them home to the countries that spawned them, or bringing them onto American soil.
Unfortunately, that's the good news.
The bad news is that the era of accountability that we were promised, and for which 52.9% of Americans apparently longed (that's how many people voted for Obama. Is that REALLY a landslide?!) doesn't appear to even be on the way, let alone here.
Because most of you at home naturally believe that this blog has a strong right tilt and will spin any news, let me instead begin my examples with the Left's much-beloved entertainment pundit in-chief, Jon Stewart - voice of the pot head youth that hoisted the Democrats and our president into office:
If you have a problem believing "Madame Speaker Pelosi", you're not alone. Steny Hoyer doesn't believe her either. Nor does John Boehner, Joe Scarborough, or-basically anybody with a brain. If you're a Democrat especially, or if you live in the states of Missouri, Virginia, Tennessee or New Jersey - states that looked close on election night 2006, then you remember Nancy Pelosi begging for you to back the Democratic candidates running in those states so that the Democrats could take control of the House and the Senate. One of the big issues she spoke of in that campaign was the issue of... wait for it... TORTURE. So, to claim that she had no clue in 2008 and 2009 is intellectually dishonest (to be nice about it).
Another group that just won't go away, and which is every bit as responsible as Jon Stewart for the crowning of Obama and Pelosi is the dearly beloved ACORN. Remember this allegedly non-partisan group that uses tax dollars to help the poor and disenfranchised vote - a group that literally endorsed Barack Obama, then used federal resources to shuttle people to the polls. Remember them? For those of you who don't know, Obama has taken the job of the 2010 census away from the Department of Commerce and placed it directly in the hands of ACORN. When this blog, Fox News, and hundreds of independent news outlets alleged voter fraud in the November elections, we were unanimously shut down as racists, fear mongers, and crackpots.
The evidence was compelling enough that Democrat John Conyers called for an investigation before being compelled to back off by his own caucus. After the election came the indictments. Then last week, two more states indicted ACORN for fraud. Nevada on Monday and Pennsylvania on Thursday. Take a taste for yourselves:
This is of course to say nothing of the corrupt activities of Ayers and Rezko, George Soros, MoveOn.org, the Obama campaign team, and the activist Left that this blogger proudly abandoned in 2008.
But for now, it's Pelosi Vs. CIA mano a mano over the airwaves. When you see the CIA change their story 4 times in 2 days, then you can call them dishonest. Until then, bite me Nancy.
Sigh... change sure is in the air. And the best disinfectant is sunshine. Maybe now the president can understand why releasing classified memos isn't in anyone's best interest. That's because when you point a finger at someone, you've got three pointing right back at you.

Are you really citing an interview between Glenn Beck and Michelle Bachmann as a legitimate source? Come on.
I'll give you Glenn Beck, but Bachmann was spot on.
