Bloggers, Vloggers and Other Social Media Nuts

by Sheela Venero of Drawnlines Politics.

We are in a day and age where the internet is an important part of communication. Would the world have known the troubles that were happening in Iran during the Iranian Elections, if it were not for Facebook and Twitter? Would it have been possible to raise a million dollars in just a few hours for Haiti like Twitter accomplished?

The internet might have helped these events or maybe the outcomes would have unfolded the same without the use of social media. However, one fact is undeniable; the internet has given us the opportunity to disseminate information at rapid speeds. We have headlines at our fingertips, we can take a picture and within seconds it can be posted around the world but more importantly, the internet gives us a voice. How many bloggers, vloggers and other social media nuts are out there?

This past Saturday the editor of Drawnlines Politics, Nicholas Stone, joined me for a discussion about digitizing and using the internet to promote the conservative message.

Listen to our 30 minute discussion on Bloggers, Vloggers and other Social Media Nuts.
