Told you she had momentum!
I'd never pat myself on the back, but I was pretty close on the predictions. I underestimated her a little in Ohio and Rhode Island, and I'll gladly concede the point.
I overestimated her in early voting in TX. The numbers for the first hour or so really freaked me out.
Luckily, of the people who made their decision within the past 3 days, the broke for Hillary nearly 2 to 1 in Ohio and barely less than that in TX. That's beautiful.
In TX, hispanics represented almost 31% of the vote (more than expected) and blacks 19% (they expected 24%). That worked in her favor. More young people stayed home than they thought. More women came out than they thought. All in Clinton's favor. Also, East TX swung toward her, and that was going to be the swing area. All other areas basically went exactly as expected.
The fact is, she was able to raise doubts about Obama's leadership abilities... and rightfully so.
Speaking to you as an American, not just a democrat, and not just a Hillary supporter, I'm very proud of TX, OH, and RI for making the right choice. It will pay off when she gets us actual solutions to actual problems.
For now, she has GOT TO stop bleeding super delegates. That's starting to piss me off.
