Newsflash: Drawnlines gives Obama High Marks

It brings great pleasure to report to you a flash from yesterday's Newsmax. President Obama decided to deploy Henry Kissenger, Secretary of State under Nixon and Ford, along with Reagan Secretary of State George Schultz, former senator Sam Nunn and Fmr Defense Secretary William Perry to talks with Russia's Prime Minister Vladimir Putin last month, which led to this week's meeting between our Obama and Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, resulting in an announcement over nuclear missile negotiated reductions between the two countries.

Also in international news, Obama's trip to the G-20 has been a large step for our country as we find new footing in the world. Obama spoke in front of a French audience, where he described the tenuous relationship between Europe and America, decried anti-Americanism in Europe as mislead and unhelpful, and our need for one another as strong partners. Unfortunately, the administration made little progress in achieving commitments for more troops from our NATO ally partners in Afghanistan or for more stimulus spending from our EU partners. Still, it must be said that the trip overall was a resounding success and a first huge step toward rebuilding strained relationships abroad. When you can make the Queen of England melt, more power to you!
