AP: Hillary's America Would Have Been Different |
On Fox News Sunday this week, Fmr. Vice President Dick Cheney seemed waded into the Democratic fold by seemingly inviting a primary challenge to President Obama. In the face of a sluggish economy, poor polls and administration blunders, Cheney pondered what might have been under President Hillary Clinton.
According to Mr. Cheney, Hillary has established herself as "one of the more competent members" of the Obama administration and it would be "interesting to speculate" about how she would have performed as president. He also notes that, "perhaps she might have been easier for some of us who are critics of the president to work with."
Figuring his support could be a "kiss of death" for her campaign, Cheney clarified that his kind words did not amount to an endorsement.
